I’m Lily, the artist behind Honey Belle. I’ve always needed to work with my hands, and that instinct has carried me through every creative direction I’ve explored. My work pulls from the traditions I grew up admiring: architectural details, old paintings, hand-drawn patterns, and the kind of craftsmanship that shows the maker’s touch.

I’m drawn to color the way it actually behaves, shifting with light and revealing tones we don’t always notice. Most of my process is structured, gridding the canvas, sketching proportionally, and building color in a way that feels true to what’s in front of me. My subjects usually come back to the same things: light, landscapes, and meaningful moments in someone’s life.

I love the beauty of handmade work. There’s an old Italian idea that when you make something, you should leave one thing wrong because only God can make something perfect. Honey Belle is built on that belief: art made by hand, inspired by nature, and meant to be enjoyed!
